The market garage in Ahrweiler is back at the start

After 20 months of construction, the market garage in Ahrweiler was reopened today with a festive ceremony. The garage, which dates back to the 80s, was completely flooded during the flood disaster in July 2021.

In addition to considerable structural damage, the building services also had to be completely renewed. On this occasion, however, many other measures were also carried out to increase the user-friendliness of the garage. For example, the parking space width was also increased to 2.50 m, which was possible without any problems due to the intelligent AMP supporting structure.
