With its 5 faculties and currently approx. 32,000 students, Heinrich Heine University (HHU) is the focal point of Düsseldorf as a university and science location.
The former parking deck P1 on the southern part of the HHU campus was demolished in October 2017 due to its poor structural condition. It was replaced by the construction of a new multi-storey car park with 746 parking spaces on 4 levels, connected by straight, floor-to-ceiling ramps. As a
public car park, the entire facility has dsiabled access throughout.
In addition, the car park on which the multi-storey car park is built has been renovated to provide a further 344 parking spaces. A photovoltaic system is to be installed on the roof.
